Process steps & Mindset

1

Think

To initiate our research and embrace Design Thinking, we begin by gathering insights into people's desires and their ideas for enhancing initial dashboard designs, particularly in banking. We test these concepts and refine them based on the feedback we obtain. Considering the extensive nature of the information our systems need to present, we strive for more comprehensive data. Consequently, we perform a competitive analysis within the financial industry, focusing on trends and terminology.

2

Make

Once our research was complete, we moved on to prototyping user journeys, choosing to create high-fidelity designs featuring actual screens instead of basic sketches. We organized into eight groups with diverse cross-functional members maintain agility, and began developing wireframes for different flows. For instance, one group focused on activity which encompassed any data displayed. We translated the metadata from the source file a needs document and then designed various use cases to guide for compliance.

3

Confirm

Once we completed our flows, we conducted supervised testing and developed high-fidelity journeys for test candidates navigate and provide feedback. This occurs simultaneously with the UI development, fostering a continuous cycle of ideation and creation.

Solution: By adopting design thinking as our approach, we initiated a thorough competitive analysis, which was crucial for the project's success. During this analysis, we observed both thematic similarities and some differences, leading us to collaborate closely with the product owners to determine the necessary functions for the MVP of the NGI Application. Once the teams finalized their respective channels, we developed a proof of concept to showcase and with the product owners. proof of concepts will guide the design process to achieve the required fidelity while integrating all API development needs as we expand upon the initial concept.

What we learned

We have learned crucial lessons about the significance of simplicity and the careful balance of UI elements in Wealth Investment Programs. Many companies often follow each other's lead, leveraging APIs and standards to reach a wider audience. We continue to test and innovate as we create proof of concepts, which will ultimately drive future adoption and growth for the bank.
