Selected Work
Three projects, three kinds of leadership
Enterprise-scale regulated work, global operational work with a team I built and mentored, and end-to-end ownership as a solo consultant.
Migrating 1M+ banking clients without losing their trust
UX Architect / Product Strategy Lead · Apr 2022 – Dec 2024
THE PROBLEM
Merging two banks' systems and client bases meant reconciling onboarding flows, data models, and compliance requirements at a scale where even small friction points would hit over a million customers at once.
WHAT I DID
Led product strategy for the migration, defined adaptive onboarding flows and regulatory-compliant workflows, and built the enterprise design system and governance model that kept teams consistent across the migration.
Onboarding time down 40% · Customer satisfaction reached 95%
Rebuilding reporting infrastructure across 10+ countries — and the team behind it
Lead Product Experience Strategist · Sep 2020 – May 2022
THE PROBLEM
Pricing and reporting tools used across ten-plus countries had grown inconsistent and error-prone, with no shared design or governance model between internal and partner teams.
WHAT I DID
Led the redesign, built a modular design and governance framework adopted across Product, Engineering, Finance, and Operations, and mentored a distributed design team to carry the standard forward.
Reporting time down 35% · Governance model adopted across 4 departments
Rebuilding a brand's digital commerce from the ground up
Freelance Product Strategy Consultant · Jan 2025 – Present
THE PROBLEM
A disconnected digital ordering experience was costing sales at checkout, with no real system behind daily ordering and inventory.
WHAT I DID
Rebuilt the brand and digital commerce experience end to end, designed a custom ordering and inventory system, and unified in-store and digital through packaging, merchandising, and analytics-driven iteration.

HOW I LEAD

From the kitchen to the org chart
I came into design from the food industry, and it taught me something that still shapes how I lead: great work depends on clear systems and disciplined execution, not just good instincts. At American Axle, that meant mentoring a distributed team and building governance that outlasted my direct involvement. I set a clear vision, build systems that hold up under pressure, and make sure a team knows exactly what "great" looks like before we start.
